Before you burn

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to ¼ inch to help prevent uneven burning, excess dripping, and flaring. We sell wick trimmers as add-ons for every product. If you’re burning the wick for the very first time, no need to trim. We did that step for you 😌

Keep your candle away from drafts, vents, and air currents to prevent uneven burning, excess soot, and dripping.

For an even burn, light your candle for a max of 4 hours at a time and always trim the wick before each use.

While you enjoy the burn

Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers excessively. Allow it to cool, trim the wick, and check for drafts before relighting.

Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. Always extinguish candles before leaving the room or going to bed.

Avoid burning a candle all the way down. For safety, stop using the candle when ¼ inch of wax remains in the container.Keep candles away from flammable materials such as furniture, curtains, bedding, carpets, books, and decorations.

Store candles out of reach of children and pets. Ensure they are placed in a stable location where they won’t be accidentally knocked over.

When you’re done burning

Use a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle whenever possible, as it’s the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering.

Never use water to put out a candle, as it can cause hot wax to splatter and may even crack a glass container.

Ensure the candle is fully extinguished before leaving the room, with no glowing embers remaining in the wick.
